    Post #216. I think Peter has a point here. All partys will sometimes find that they have members who say or do stupid or extreme things. UKIP make some good points and do represent the genuinue concerns of many UK citizens about the EU and out of control immigration (better than the three mainstream parties). That doesn't make them racist, fascist or Nazi as a party.

    If Peter says he will not tolerate racists and fascists in the Dover and Deal branch, I think we should take him at his word unless proved otherwise.

    My main problems with UKIP are that as I understand it they want to end ALL foreign aid (really? There are places in the world that make our idea of poverty and austerity look like a bad joke) and their opposition to gay marriage, which is just one of those things that's going to happen sooner or later and in years to come we'll wonder what the fuss was about.
