Now for anyone asking the next most obvious question, namely:
"HOW MUCH IS THE AVERAGE MINIMUM WAGE IN ROMANIA AND BULGARIA?

In Romania, the average minimum wage is the equivalent to 170 euro a month for full time work.
In Bulgaria it is 158 euro a month full time.

With 13% unemployment in Bulgaria and 7.5% unemployment in Romania, that should count for millions of people living in families struck by unemployment.
France's minimum wage is TEN times higher than Bulgaria's and Romania's.
    Britain's is EIGHT times higher.

Britain's job seekers' allowance (£73 a week) is about 360 euro a month (counting 13 months a year), and is more than double the average minimum wage of Bulgaria and Romania.
Then there is children's allowance for anyone legally resident in Britain with children. Legal residency becomes automatic once one works in Britain, even if then becoming unemployed and signing on.

It should not come as a surprise that 10% of people in Romania and Bulgaria polled by the BBC said they would come to Britain as of 1st January 2014.
In fact, not only the unemployed, but the millions of Romanians and Bulgarians living on the average minimum wage would be better off on job seeker's allowance in the UK, which gives automatic entitlement to housing benefit.
Plus the children's allowance not to forget!

Hands up all who say we are better off in the EU.
