As part of the Royal Maritime Theme Day, the Queen flew into Dover's Eastern Docks by helicopter where she opened two new ferry births (eight and nine), after which she was driven into the town centre where she visited Dover Museum to see the 3,500-year-old Bronze Age Boat.
Her final visit was to the Watersports Centre on Dover seafront where she met leaders and volunteers who teach a wide range of sailing skills.
