But what about the by-election in Eastleigh?
This will be a hard fought campaign between the LimpDems and the Conservatives and Cameron needs to win it.
No quarter must be given in what will be a bloody campaign for the coalition Parties. The Conservatives need to select a well known local political bruiser to fight the seat and not some metropolitan Cameroon.
Will the coalition survive it? - yes, for a while longer but do not expect the coalition to persist until the election. The two Parties will need 6 to 18 months to re-establish their individual identities in Parliament so you can expect the formal coalition to end within a year.

Rumours that Farage will stand - There is no legal impediment to Boris standing.

- Tsk, tsk. Politics is again seen and referenced only in terms of Party personalities. This goes some way to explaining why Politics in the UK is such a joke.

Thats been the case forever - Its why the Russians liked Lenin and the Germans Hitler, those 2 said what the electorate wanted to hear.

- In the graph above the orange line denotes the increase in carbon emissions and the red line indicates the change in global temperatures. Strangely enough the blue line denotes each U-turn made by the Conservatives since they formed the coalition.
Aggregated data consisting of all data taken from the three separate lines indicate the utter folly of voting for any of the three mainstream parties come next election time.
Voting for any of them is a wasted vote. - No predictions from me David - anything can happen.
Tom - the LibDems are a hindrance to curing the ills caused by the rabid left. - Barry - I did mention Party Manifestos and General Election.
Mind you, there is no place to mention turnout in 2010, 69% or so. If that remains much the same or rises, I predict Lib-Dem hold. - The thing about Barry's blog is that He tends to conveniently pick and choose his targets: ie: the easy ones.
Slightly more inconvenient are the list of conservative members of parliament who are up to their eyes in something extremely distasteful and rather fishy to the nose.
Take the likes of Tim Yeo, Charles Hendry, John Gummer, Greg Barker for starters.
All have been appointed to serve on crucial government panels and committes whilst collectively earning millions from the taxpayer or bill payer via their grubby schemes which impoverish us all but keep them rich.
This is so utterly wrong in my book. There is no other word for it. Legally, of course, they are probably adhering to the rule book in terms of declaring interests etc. etc. but to witness these troughers with their dirty little snouts in the public trough is far worse than any previous scandal which caused such a fuss over the past couple of years.
Of course the fact that these fellows are conservative politicians is probably fine in Barry's book.
I'd be interested to discover his opinion on these people.

Merely changing the label can do nothing to help Philip with his justifiable concerns.
Having no more than three weeks to campaign in the Eastleigh by-election gives ample scope for the losers to excuse themselves, always of prime importance.
Oh to be in Eastleigh...now that spring is there... - Of course I pick and choose my targets Philip - I write it after all.....
Being a Conservative does not insulate anyone from my criticism as you know well. Osborne is regularly in my firing line and Cameron more recently.
As for those you mention - I have had a go at Tim Yeo in the past, not one of my favourites. As for the others, no, I have not bothered to have a go at them. There are many topics I do not bother to tackle and certainly will not be doing so just because you say I should.
The Lib-Dems being the only hope, at present, of quelling the flames of rabid Conservatism. Plus, ensuring that the respective Manifestos come the General Election in 2015 will be robust.
