Well it has been a very busy Easter here in Dover. We have had many visitors from all over bringing a much needed boost to the local economy. The weather was superb, so the hotels were full and hopefully the guesthouses too. Some visitors however did not bring much of an economic boost, but were nevertheless very much welcomed by one and all, we speak of course of the swans in the pictures above. It is very unusual to see swans in the harbour....but here we are...and four of them too, majestically gliding by in the early morning light. All is tranquility.

Last Run of the Day...
On a hugely busy buzzing weekend for Dover, when the roads were hectic, the hotels were full, and the beaches were alive with fun, frivolity, and frolics...who could resist a tranquil shot of Richard Mahoney's Boat Tour majestically weaving it's late leisurely way around the harbour. Richard who found himself in some controversy lately with regard to his inadvertently defacing an important local site, is seen here doing what he probably does best, his mastership of the harbour boat tours.
It is late in the day now, the crowds are seeping away and the tour winds it's weary way homeward...and leaves the world to the coming darkness. PB
