New Look Ramada
The owners of both this hotel and the new Marina Hotel on the seafront are of course one and the same, and they have made a great and substantial investment in Dover and they must be applauded for their committment to the town and the area. The Ramada Hotel Dover had an open day last friday and we popped up to see the fabulous new interior design. This hotel has had a considerable facelift and as these pictures show, it is looking very very nice indeed. The design very much in harmony with the Marina Hotel on the seafront. There can be no doubt about it but visitors now have a wonderful choice of options when they linger in Dover.
The picture above and left captures the almost romantic mood of the new restaurant. In the corner you can see the grand piano and just make out the pianist in the corner.

And speaking of the pianist in the corner, here she is in close up harmony. Her name is Veronika Korobova and she hails from the Czech Republic. She is a waitress officially, as I understand it, but can play Schumann and Mozart in sublime style. She tinkled away with great beauty while we were surveying the refreshed establishment. You see.. speaking as one immigrant to another ...immigration isn't all bad! The picture right shows the Doverforum ladies Colette Boland and Jan Tranter nestling up to the Ramada Sales Manager Trevor Bond...all forumites to a man!
Just below we have a picture of the newly designed bar area. Soft subtle colours and very pleasant they are too. If you look closely you can see a few familiar faces propping up the bar...couldn't possibly comment ! So as you can see it is all looking fantastic at The Ramada. A must for that special evening meal. We are spoiled for choice lately. Paul Boland.
