Well it's here at last....
You wont have missed the news, unless you have been in lofty orbit circulating in the International Space Station, although on reflection not even up there, but today is the day that Prince William marries Kate Middleton. Thousands of people have been sleeping out along The Mall all night in order to get a good vantage point as the celebrated couple carriage past. There is much excitement abroad in the London air, thousands are visiting the capital from all corners of the globe to join in the celebrations. Cash registers at souvenir emporiums are ringing and zinging and tingling as the dosh for imagery rolls in. Yes indeed, the big moment has arrived, today is the day and it all happens at Westmister Abbey.

Of course the Royal Wedding isn't for everyone...this guy below, picture taken earlier this morning, has just 'gone fishing'!

gone fishin' he dont live there any more"
He may well have got the Royal Wedding Blues...and prefers the company of mackeral. Ah sure why not? all is tranquil.

Well it is done. They are married. It's all over bar some of the ceremonial extravaganza as I write. Top picture shows Kate saying her vows to William just a short while ago in the glorious sumptious setting of Westminster Abbey. A magnificent awe-inspiring ceremony proving somehow that you can't quite beat a good church wedding. Now a special picture left for the girls..a shot of Kate's dress which is causing much excitement. All the outfits on show are.. seemingly.."a great boost to British fashion". PB.* *
