Age UK were of course formerly known as Age Concern, they are based at the Riverside Centre right here in central Dover and last night thursday they held a reception to launch their new comprehensive services for the elderly and the vulnerable. The specialist care they offer is provided by a highly skilled workforce and is now able to reach a diverse range of vulnerable people. Age UK offer personal care, domestic care, and support with everyday living for the elderly..for those suffering with dementia or indeed any kind of mental health problems. At the event representing KCC is local legend Cllr Nigel Collor who always brings his own brand of good humour to preceedings..seen here with Mayor Ronnie, who certainly is the friendly Mayor.
