Last of the Snow Pictures

the previous classic shots now in All Recent Features.
Well we have shown some excellent pictures of the snow. It is such a beautiful and gorgeous white substance initially, but our jolly love affair with it soon wears thin when it all goes compacted, icy, slushy, messy, and dangerous. But despite all this hardship, grim conditions, and whathaveyou, our roving man on the spot Phil Eyden didnt mind slip sliding his way up Castle Hill to get the lovely picture on the left. The lighting is just right here and it shows the Castle to beautiful effect, on a very cold day. Im sure Phil came back down Castle Hill by toboggan! This man knows no fear! Well done Phil. Great stuff!

Our very own Mont Blanc. Yes indeed...white mountain. The picture on the left was taken by yours truly and its just a little bit different. It was taken on a little fairly cheap HP camera that sometimes excells itself. The reason this particular camera was used was simply that it just happened to be in my hand when a shaft of light, on a dark brooding day, struck the White Cliffs in fine style. At that time we hadnt seen any sunlight for quite a period of time. It was almost heavenly for a few moments.
