Yes I am out and about, I went down to Pencester on Saturday to see the "Boat race" but got the days mixed up so finished up in the "Funky Monkey" for a couple of pints.
I saw the surgeon who did my hip op. last week and he was well pleased with my progress and I hope to throw away my crutch soon.
I was diagnosed with prostate cancer last October but it was caught early and I don't need radiography, it is kept under control with a hormone implant in my stomach every three months.
Roger, I hope that Jean has got over her illness and is on the mend.

Yes, Jean is over it but it has left her quite weak, but she's a fighter and soldiers on.
The trouble is that even when she's really ill, she always looks well - I did say that I'll have engraved on her headstone "I told you I was ill" !!
We're gonna try going out for a quite evening, see how she feels.
