This could have the making of a very good coalition government unlike what we see today.

18:4987034Mrs T was a strong leader, but I`m not going into the rights and wrongs of her leadership. I will say one thing though, I bet we wouldn`t have the Falkland`s now if any other leader was in there. The early/mid 80s were boom times for me, mortgage rates tumbled, we had shares which meant we had LOADS O` MONEY! I have pictures of me counting my wads of notes, (and the music was great too).

With thank to Harry Enfield, the only sketch I ever liked him in otherwise couldn`t stand him. Vic, I can`t think of any others, unless you wish to clone Mrs T? I always viewed the politicians I saw as feeble and weak in my tv watching days.

mrs thatcher lost the falkland islands and the military that regained it, her government instructed the removal of our warship from the islands thereby giving general galtieri the green light to invade.

(not mr camerons own ears)
advisor to tory co olition
on the tory benches willy hague was a leader at wrong time and as long as he doesn't employ the advisors who told him to wear a baseball cap he would do well
on the lib dem benches
simon hughes can demonstrate many abilities and well respected

19:0587051the most contructive one has been from peter, people are either good leaders and thinkers or they are not.
their political colour is irrelevant.
as a simple example everyone thinks well of churchill, i do not much about his politics, but his wartime speeches coupled with his wicked sense of humour leaves him as a top person with me.

cannot agree with you about ann widdecombe, just a rent a mouth politician in my view, you're probably right about vic and paulw though, i would go for vic at no.10 with paulw next door.
