12:2167016On a personal note, this is my first time back for some while. I won't go into details, but Paul B and I have had some major disagreements that remain largely unresolved. Paul and I are still friends, but I have refrained from posting on here as a protest against things I would prefer to remain between us; a very good friend said to me this morning that it was time to face my demons and put it all behind me.
In truth, as always, she's right and thus I am back as a member of a forum I have great pride in being a member of; it would be folly to pretend that the issues Paul and I disgreed over have been resolved, and some personal comments on here were distinctly unpleasant but it wouldn't be right to cut off my nose to spite my face, so here I am again, like it or not!
Thank you to my friends for your support and greatly valued advice.

15:0967026Ah, no, Marek....you didn't upset me and never have. Next time we're in Jersey I shall buy you a beer in The Southampton Hotel, or perhaps somewhere nice! (A friend owns it!)
And, thanks to all for their good wishes.

15:4467031I believe so, Alec. I've just looked at the website and it looks like the place.......bit posher than The Southampton, though! Although The Southampton's address is actually Weighbridge, I always remember it as being the first place for a beer when you get off the ferry!

There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".

12:0267145Wow, Jenny, that's fantastic! I've got one at Teresa's being framed now, should be ready Thursday. When I get it back, I'll email you a picture. (Can't put it on here - prying eyes an' all!)
I have some Aida fabric here that a customer paid for and didn't want. Yours if you want it...free! Let me know if you'd like it, and email me your address (fabric@thefabricfairy.co.uk) and it'll be on its way to you post haste.
Congratulations on your big day, hope it went well!
xx
