  Ed - It is possible and quite reasonable for someone to differentiate between privatisation proposals and make valued judgements. Mrs T, for instance, was against the privatisation of Royal Mail and it is now known that she stopped one of her Ministers from doing it.
  
  GP is simply ant-privatisation full stop - he admitted at the last General Election that he was 'Old Labour'. That doesnt mean he cant be pushed into the 'right' lobby by the whips of course. The fact is that GP has zero influence and is being treated with contempt by his own Government being kept in the dark about things being done in his own constituency.
