An early Valentines greeting
- 10 February 2009 12:3215091I'd like to wish everyone a lovely Valentines Day. Alas I won't be enjoying a long romantic lunch or dinner; I'll be eating in the BBC canteen! I'll be back at the Beeb in London filming a documentary about funny mobile phone stories. On the plus side I am in Barcelona at the moment!

Jeane, Barcelona, one of my favourite cities, brings back Happy Memories, enjoying lunch in one of those fantastic restaurants by the marina and sipping a dry martini in the Royal Princess Hotel. Bliss! Now wouldn't that be a lovely romantic Valentine's weekend

The sculpture is life sized and was made around 1930. It's totally spectacular; in fact the entire Poublenou cemetery was jaw-droppingly amazing.
