did you report it brian?
a lot of times, people assume that someone else has reported it.
hope the old lady was ok.

There's been a flurry of white paint on pavements lately, presumably meaning that they will be seen to.
Same happened last year, nothing happened though!

I take it all back, the County Lengthsmen are working in London Road right now!
Only a year after the pavement was marked for levelling!

It's not just "old dears"!! I don't think I am yet, quite, (but almost) an Old Dear, but I took a purler on an uneven pavement a few months ago. Bruised ego and scraped knees was all, but it could have been worse.........I might have been "commando"......................

don't forget they would still be sorting out the pavement after bern's fall.
these things cost money

yep and theres none for dover as useall.
No need to sort the pavement out after my fall, Howard - the fall took away sufficient pavement to enable a local entrepreneur to build an entire block of luxury flats in the crater. Business in motion.............

If there are problems with broken paving slabs uneven footways in town and the endless road works ,well you voters in Dover Town have had a wonderful chance to give the candidates an ear bashing .County Elections on Thursday .See if they keep their promises ???
The roads in this district are a disgrace .No sooner do they resurface a road then they dig it up .If more time was spent sorying out problems in stead of meetings and political point scoring we migh just might be happier .

Yes I know who runs KCC.I repeatedly complain about local roads and pavements .Lovely to have a high speed train link ,meanwhile elderly people have to watch their step and skirt round barriers etc .Buses get held up and our trunk roads are congested .Both my sons have to travel abroad for their work ,in fact the younger one went to Germany twice last week.
They are always complaing re the roads .
Our local officers do what they can but who holds the purse strings .
On another note I have just spent over thirty minutes talking to a resident re Housing .I explained I no longer covered that role however he knew I would listen .I gather another nameless councillors response was " im not talking to you now as Im on holiday " .Good job there was not a camera on my phone as I sat talking and making notes with just A very large towel covering my modesty .I think a councillor is on duty all the time however Im old fashioned .
