19:1974278As you all my know on the 23rd july 2011 myself and Mark are having our vows renewed and a blessing, all the plans are going great but can i please ask why men dislike the idea of wearing pink?. My colour theme is cerise i think its a lovely shade yet i still have male members of the wedding party putting up a fight for reasons that are beyond me. Answers please.

19:2474282mell,pink as a rule is seen as a femenine color, allso associated with the gay set.so some men get techty about wearing any shade of pink you could mention.i personly wouldnt go near to any thing pink, any other color yes.pink is a no no for me.

22:3974310Are you expecting the men to wear cerise suits Mel, if so I can understand their point of view.
If it is just a tie or shirt do as Jenni suggests, good luck with the hysterics

23:0974311Don't really see the issue if it is a pink shirt or pink tie - now a cerise pink suit would be another matter entirely, unless of course your talking about the band....

00:3274312Has Mark got a say in this? Or is it done and dusted?
Give the guy a break and let him wear what he feels comfy in.

18:1974373i think we should have a whip round so that mark can go down the pub that day thus avoiding total humiliation.
