it does concern me that Dover is lagging behind..
I see all the publicity re the old co op building in Stembrook.A bit like giving Dover a Woolies and Deal a Harrods.
If Harrods opened a store in the district then I suspect they would choose Deal but Dover shouldn't be lagging behind considering the enormous investment it is getting compared to the rest of the district. St James £50m, new leisure centre £26m, Western Docks £250m, Snargate Street upgrade £10m, rapid bus system £15m.
