11:4911531i think the last thing anyone should do is go into the cold sea without being 100% fit.
trust you will be ok for the 31st mandie.
the air temperature is forecast as about 3 degrees at mid-day, time for anyone to back out now.

17:3211534Well, it certainly looked fun and lots of people were there to encourage and cheer the people into the cold briny. The wind was strong and cold/
Not sure if it's brave or stupid, but well done to all those who went in - the ones I saw, who I know, were Carole Webb, Georgette Rapley, Barry W.S. and Vic in a suiit, fez and cane.
I didn't see you Mandie, but I'm still happy to cough up - hope you feel better soon.
Happy Boxing Day and good luck if you went to the sales for a bargain.

19:5111537Hi gang. Got to say I feel rougher now than ever before. I have spent most of the afternoon in bed, only got up for a drink really.
I so wish I could have gone in today, but I so need to be well for the new year events.
Sorry I didn't see you Roger. There were quite a few people there, and bless my girlies, they really wanted to get into the warm, so it was a case of "get them out and get them dry and warm".
I have no idea how Vic manages to stay frollicking in that water. He must have built in body heaters. All credit to him though, and I do hope he continues going in year after year. I don't think it would be the same without him.
Thanks in advance to all those who have sponsored the girls, hopefully I shall see you New Years Eve Roger, you can pay me then if it makes things easier for you.
Right back off to my sick bed now.
Night night luv Mand x

11:3411568Hi Marek. Thanks so much for your help getting the signs to my house with bazza. You were both stars. Most of the signs are still there, but the 3 needed are now out at 5 ways, High St and Ladywell. Thanks to Lee for that.
Roger it was MCL that did the lettering, although it did cost me £56 which I had to pay for myself. they were very good in getting them done for me at short notice, so huge thanks to Mark from MCL for doing that for me and putting up with me.
I am pleased to let you all know that apart from a husky voice. I am feeling oodles better than I was, so I am feeling good for New Years Eve and new years day.

I am getting pretty excited now about Wednesday. I hope as many people as possible come out to watch these kids from the US, and I am hoping the weather stays dry for them to.
see you soon Lv mand x
