Ian your avatar may be the only one that moves, but mine is the only one that gets things moving.

Good link there Jeane, thanks. Sparks always cracked me up, it's like watching Marc Bolan jam with the Fuhrer.
Oh, if anyone is remotely wondering, my 'alien' is Balok, from 'The Corbomite Manoever', a very early episode of the original series of Star Trek. He (disappointingly) turned out to be puppet controlled by a young alien child of the First Federation onboard the giant ship Fesarius. Scared me as a young thing in the seventies.
I really must get out more. A lot more.

Phil, just picked this up. The times I saw your avatar, and didn`t recognise it. The first series of Star Trek, was my one and only following of any sci-fi series. I never bothered, and was never interested in any of the other Star Trek follow on`s, or any other sci-fi series. Used to watch the repeat`s many times in the 70s and 80s. Couldn`t stand the episode`s with Captain Mudd in them. Always hated stupidity in programmes I liked.

Have just changed mine after reading this - just for fun! One of my favourite pics. The other one, BTW, was a load of people applauding. The approval was heady...........

If anybody is p****d off with my can of bean`s, I will not be offended and will change them. They do help me find my past posting`s easier, but I`m sure I`ll get used to another. Bright and cheerful your one Bern, and may I ask what BTW stands for?

There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".

"Little fingers" as Hancock used to say when both persons said the identical phrase at the same time.

I was showing off with my BTW - the kids have been teaching me text-speak. I hate it and usually spell everything out, laboriously.

Jacqui, you can create your Avatar from any picture you have on your computer, just go to this site and follow the instructions:
http://www.shrinkpictures.com/create-avatar/
The techie bit, default size for your avatar is pre-set at 200 pixels. I think that is okay for DoverForum.
