00:2334740Vic,
Look after your knees mate, when they've gone you have had it. I had a new one two years ago at Margate which got infected and it was a long healing process. It is not too bad now but it is still swollen and I can get a 90 degree bend on it. I need the other one doing but I have put it on hold for the time being.
I have had Sciatica for about ten weeks, talk about a "pain in the arse", that is where it starts and goes right down to my ankle and it happens to be in the leg with the new knee. The doctor says it will go away eventually whenever that is. I am hobbling around on a crutch at the moment.
Just go down to have a look on Boxing day Vic, let the others get their feet wet.
A Merry Christmas.
Alec.

09:5934792Hey I have just seen David's message - he is joking of course about the work in the kitchen (that is his department) but I am thinking about going for a dip on Boxing Day - does anyone know what time it takes place? Linda

11:4034871Been down the town and got what you need for your Boxing Day dip, Vic?
Presumably that'll be a ticket to Barbados, then!
Or a hip flask for the Highland Park?
True friends stab you in the front.
