Looks good, but is it all flats?
Not sure about the 1st picture with the castle and empty roads with a car facing the wrong way up Frith Road!

Does make it look super clean and smart, Frith road that is, architectural pictures making it look extra nice. Not so sure about the building. The picture taken form the church on Frith road so think you may see it as at first was a bit disorientated by it.

Seems good on the face of it with 30 units made available for social housing which is desperately needed in the area.

At least they are providing parking of one per household also which is good, parking in Dover is a nightmare.

I thought planning policy is that there should be two parking spaces per household on new builds.
The proposed building looks a lot better than the unkempt eyesore that I regularly have to walk past but I would prefer it was all one style or colour I think the white bit will look awful after a few years.

You are a bit late Karlos, the crash, bang and wallops have been going on for at least three weeks, the noise started before Christmas.

Never saw any visible signs of demolition until today.
Walked down Morrison's after work and noticed that part of the building on Frith Road was gone, but was pretty sure it was there Saturday.

Over 60's need homes too Keith. They mostly move out to places such as Charlton Green vacating their houses for the young first time buyers.
My own four storey house is becoming too much for me.

If I was not also providing a home for my daughter I would seriously think of moving there, from what I have read it sounds great.

Morning Terry,
The point I was making was,in earlier posts it was looking at general social housing where as Mc carthy stone is mainly in the over 50's market
no problem with that just a bit of info
