I have now officially entered the realm of the Miserable Old Sods, sorry I mean OAP's. Saturday saw me reaching 65 so I can now be as grumpy as I like.
The Nunn family descended en masse to Blakes where a good time was had by all. Peter and Kathryn looked after us admirably, all credit to them and Kerry (I think) behind the bar.
Thanks also to Guzz for taking the picture.

Truly puzzled.
Never thought of you as grumpy, Terry. No, really!
Ah well, you'll just have to try harder ...
Happy birthday!

Thought that myself. Doesn't look half grumpy enough. Still, practice makes perfect.
Super photo.
All the best

Thanks folks for all your kind comments. I won't be putting my feet up though, I was still out with the dog at 05.30.
Whilst plodding round I was as usual listening to "Farming Today". It was about exotic meat this morning. Not only do we import water buffalo meat but we also breed it here. One wonders where, swamplands of the Weald perhaps?

I look forward to David Attenborough introducing "The flight of the Water Buffalo" as they meander through Milton Keynes in search of real towns.

Mock ye not. They sell buffalo milk up here. There's a buffalo herd locally as well.

Yes Gary. My father's brother was Lewis, Bert was his son. Quite a few Nunns around.
As they say Maggie, you couldn't make it up!

mmm buffalo steaks with fries and salard,my mouth is watering like mad with a rumberly tum.
I always listen to Farming Today too - they were on about "local" croc meat as well as goat and water buffalo. Ostrich was also on the menu..........given the prices, I was rather amused when they started talking about the "cheaper cuts" of diced water buffalo and croc! I look forward to the Wildebeest in Connaught Park!
