Yes Howard, we have been hard at work in Connaught Park recently planting as you say the 'Summer Flowers' so the park is now blooming again, thanks for the photos above Howard. It is looking quite lovely, myself & the volunteers worked extremely hard under the hot sun but rather that than in the rain. Lots of people have admired the lovely flowers and thanked us for making it look so pretty again.
Many thanks to DDC for supplying us with the beautiful plants, the park keeper Big Al for helping to transport the plants down from the yard and the constant ongoing watering, my brilliant volunteers (you all know who you are) & thank you to you guys for the lovely comments above, much appreciated. It's good to see lots of people making use of the grass courts now up and running again & the hard courts too, I guess they have the Wimbledon bug
