22:3031342Tommorow sees Dover FC playing in the 4th Qualifying round of the F.A. cup, at home again, this time to Eastleigh.
Dover have been lucky this year with home draws and the winners of this round I understand are to get £11,500
thats on top of winnings already collected.
To a club like Dover who have big plans this will help towards this aim.
I'm pleased at one point the chair of Dover AFC stated that although the FA Cup is one where you can get to mix with the big boys, the monies nice when they win, but the main aim for the club is to gain promotion.
Also the monies won are not included in the yearly forecast of incoming dosh so is all a bonus.
Just a bit of a worry a cup run can get you behind on fixtures as i understand the next round(first round proper) is 2 weeks time where Dover were due to play the leaders Newport.
That game will(shouldDover win cup game)be put off till later in the season.
So getting back to tommorow, sadly I'm working all the weekend so going to miss it
Dover needs you all there, cheer the lads to victory.
big noisy crowd does help lift the Dover players.

19:2831403Erm.. what game were you watching Victor!? True that we played badly but I've seen far worse in the last few years. We made some good chances but didn't deserve to win because 1) we couldn't defend for toffee and 2) Eastleigh totally outclassed us.
The final score was actually 5-3 to Eastleigh.
Could have been very different if the ref hadn't disallowed a perfectly good goal (goalkeeper drops ball, Welford slams home, Eastleight get set for the restart then the mucker decides to rule it out when the keeper plays dead!). The sending off was a joke. Perfectly good tackle, won the ball, got a straight red.
Disappointing but certainly not a disaster. When key players come back from injury and suspension we can resume the party.

Although I sympathise with your loss of dosh ...you have mentioned it on 3 separate threads!! Is that really necessary? Stoke got stuffed by Portsmouth tonight so that should round off a *hit-awful day for you.Hope you get the cash back but I doubt it.Check your pockets in case you misplaced it.
