20:2932213surely people are asking too much of the whites, two successive promotions?
it is never good for a football club to go through the divisons too quickly, they usually end up going back down just as quickly.
there would be a lot of different demands in the conference, ground standards, players going full time etc.

16:2432336Yes Dover still have the F.A. Trophy.Get the right games and at home they could do well in it,even win it, all to do with the draws of the rounds.
THEY should win on the 21st I hope to be there to see it.
But Saturday is a ver very big game for them and to win they are going to have to play their best football and that will have to be alot better then what we have seen at home over the last few weeks, but they can play good football and and good support they can do it,I think it could end with a win to Dover of 1-0 or a draw, we will not see alot of goals with this one.

21:1632619blimey vic, got your oxtail soup, you ate all me sweets, and Dover only been losin since i met up with you, maybe your a jinx???????
Today i believe Dover gave it there all. its the best i have seen them play for some time, and they matched Newport in many departments.
Dover through poor marking gave the first goal away, and did well to equalise, they also had other chances wherethey came close, but again poor marking allowed newport to get the second.
It was always uphill from then onwards, and Dover did put newport under a lot of pressure, but newport also broke away a few times.
I felt Newport were a strong side althouugh struggled a few times when Dover put them under pressure.
Today was probably a measuring day as to how far Dover have come.
Bearing in mind Newport are ex football league, and looking to get back there,
And a few years ago Dover looked in decline and going under.
Look at Dover now, all the promotions, second in league, matching the leaders
still able to get in play offs(if newport don't slip up)
but maybe this season is one for Dover to settle for having a good season
and continue to build/

20:5833619Dover won today with ten men 3-2 a very hard game it was 2-2 and then Dover had a man send off,and that made them better it was the best game I have seen up there this year and the Dover goal keeper was just great it was him who saved the day well done to them
