08:016107Phil, I know there is no Borstal, that is what it shows up as on the map, Chris, reaction is still the same no mobile antennas, the immigration centre is out the way, and more or less out of sight to the public, so would be an ideal place, or is it not on my doorstep

12:436121Sheila,I beleive there is already a mobile phone mast in the grounds of the removal centre, well hidden from view.They were erecting it just before i retired 2yrs ago.So yes we do not want another on our doorstep,anyway English Heritage would not take to kindly to putting a mast up,I wouldn,t think.

13:126122Not sure why so many masts are needed - I can get a perfectly good signal on the French networks when I go to Langdon cliffs !!
Been nice knowing you :)

16:576129This masts through the planning office have been of concern;
Shepway council did stop all masts from coming into being
Dover never would
there was medical evidence produced of the dangers of these masts if to close to them
but not listened to so they continued
and worse schools were paid £45,000 for erecting them there so they would of course say yes with budgets as they are

interesting comment on the reception on the langdon cliffs.
what has always baffled me, is that my mobile telephonic communicator switches over to the french network only about 5 miles from calais/boulogne.
upon my return sojourn, it does not switch back to the uk service provider until the vessel enters our harbour.
is this a plot by the evil european commissars??

17:537881I see no-one on the council accepted my challenge to justify their competence to handle strategic economic planning, in the light of past failures (White Cliffs Experience etc.)
What are we to read into this?

18:007882Isn't the White Cliffs Experience a bit old hat now and is a fair time ago now. I see they are doing a good job now the demolitions are happening.....
