21:1366781I confess, I was a train spotter too! My most exciting day was also my saddest. A trip to Swindon Sheds was just terrific and I got a ride (Cabbed) of about 250 yards on a Pullman train. The sad part was seeing all the steam engines parked up and ready for the scrap-heap; it was a terrible and heartbreaking sight.

22:3266846Here is one of Manchester Liners Colin. Manchester Vanguard stuck in the ice shortly after leaving Montreal in Dec. 1958. I took it with an old Agfa bellows camera.
