You're right I'm sure Howard, from a numbers point of view, Dieppe must be the least popular, but I'm sure the businesses there weren't very happy, as per those in Boulogne when Speedferries went titsup.
It's a four hour journey to Dieppe, so you wouldn't "pop" over there - you'd need at least a night, but preferably a couple of nights or more.
It's described as the prettiest town on the (French) coast.

shame really,the only way they could do it would be seending the seacat down that way,should be able to cut the time traverling by half.allso timing is inportant ie. 3 outward bound in the morning,say 6,8,10am then 6,8,10pm back.this system worked on the ostend route.
