  If we live in a society where the worst crime one can commit is the crime of offending someone then we live in a society that takes serious crimes less seriously. Rape? Murder? Five years, you'll be out in two with good behaviour. You called that lady fat? Life imprisonment - beheading - hanged until dead!

  quite right rick would much rather be insulted than beaten up or murdered.
  people have to develop thick skins.
