21:0641198For a change I sort of agree with Paul Watkins, in so far as what people want (at least all that I talk to) is a town centre health unit, that will provide palliative, follow up and out patient care, day surgery, maternity unit and minor injuries clinic.

22:3441209As Chairman of the Kent Splenectomy Trust I am going to a meeting on the 24thMarch at Ashford with the East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation trust.
the meeting is about "To plan future services with greater freedom to meet local needs in Dover,Canterbury,Ashford. Folkestone, and Margate.
As a representative of our communities I am told I will have the opportunity to talk about the Hospital for Dover and how members like myself can help to make plans for the future.I must say I have done this in the pass without much luck, but I will again put up a case for Dover and then get back to you.
If you would like me to take up anything in the way you are thinking just tell me on the forum or email me and it will be done. Thank You.

all gone quiet on this one.
has the money been lost or is it all going to be spent on the buckland site?
i hope it is the latter or it will be another "if only" story.
