'Put simply the Club has run out of money, with no income at all and none likely for the foreseeable future.'
Jim Parmenter's latest:

Yes, I particularly enjoyed his Francis Urquhart impersonation.

Season cancelled. No decision on whether there will promotion/relegation, or null and void (or any other options).

Yes indeed. I suspect the retained are on 2-year contracts. Well, I hope that's the reason, as there's more quality in half of the 7 going than in the 15 retained. But faced with such ridiculous uncertainty, there's not much the club can do.

The strong rumour is a return to part time football, at least for the foreseeable. But to retain day time training if possible. Anything to survive at this point....

I hear football's back at a higher level. As I don't watch it, does anybody know what the set-up is? How do you tackle from a 2m distance? Can players propel phlegmy deposits onto the turf? Is it safe to swear at the ref from behind a mask? Is a foul awarded to the opposition if a player coughs? Is sneezing a red-card offence? Can you hug after a goal? Is the ball disinfected after a throw-in? Asking for a friend.

Quite a debate on it
Therr was always 2 camps on him
Some liked him
I thought he held ball up well but sometimes he shot and hit corner flag
Then the missed penalties

I wasn't a fan but more recently decided I had been a little harsh.

Like all players, something is missing from their game to be at our level. If Inih could finish more clinically, he’d be a league one player. We’ll miss him for sure. Look out for a fascinating interview with Chris Kinnear on the Kent non league podcast today, if you’re interested. First interview since leaving us.

Club freezes all ticket prices and reduces squad training to 3 mornings a week. But Parmenter warns there'll be no matches at Crabble until the government lifts its prohibition on our attending a sporting event: 'We just cannot afford to play behind closed doors.'
I doubt that'll do much for season ticket applications: there's not much point in paying
not to a watch a football match. And now there's the possibility of DDC-enforced 'local lockdowns', who knows when we'll get to see some footie.

That was set up last year. Probably because Parmenter and the supporters club weren't getting on.
It seemed to just duplicate the job of the supporters club.
