Having recently been to Folkestone as a witness I should add I am surprised they are not on the list, it was awkward to get to and extremely tatty plus no area for witnesses to park.

Dover's is on prime development land though, we'll be able to chuck up another block of flats to house the next influx of immigrants.

I am surprised that the powers that be didn't decide to transfer cases to Dover as the Folkestone one is set in the leafy West End and would be very attractive to developers.

Been wondering why the building has not been developed into flats by now as the Government are always looking to save money. Prime location for shops and high speed link with built in wheelchair access. Today a chap I don't know that well told me that it is being used as an immigration unit whereby someone caught sneaking into the country overnight is brought there the following morning interviewed then let go if they promise to come back when requested. The strange thing is most don't.

Magistrates court up for auction finally, flats would fetch a good price with the proximity to public transport including the high speed link and shops.

Would no doubt need a lot spent on it to create accommodation, possibly even demolishing and starting again.

Either conversion or demolition, still a snip at that price to a property developer.
Can't believe though that, on the day, it would sell at that price?

My guess is that if it goes it will go for somewhere north of £750k given recent sales prices at auction of properties in Dover

It has certainly taken long enough but so did the old post office building at Charlton Green which they are at last demolishing/working on.

68 cycle spaces? Is the Sky cycling team moving in?
Seems a shame that the height of the building is going to be doubled. The pictures make it look a right eyesore.
