16:2138157Park in Debrad`s car park at 10.00, (3 hours £1.10), up to Christian tea room for tea and kit kat (90p). Pop into WHS to view recent mags out, down to sea front and walk along promenade to eastern docks. Back along promenade and up to library for a read. Down to the seasports cente for beans on toast, 2 eggs and tea. Into Debrads for a new pair of shoes, then home. Anyone else about today? Anyone got a particular route, or just wander about? I do plan one day to do a tea room crawl. Has it ever been done?

16:2638158Usually a fry-up at the Dovorian, followed by a decent walk around the Heights or Castle, then T at De Bradlei (or Castle when it opens later in the summer)

15:2438259I think that alleyway`s always been a dog s**t problem hasn`t it Sheli? My wife used to encounter it alot when the children were at school. Maybe one day, they`ll be a dog DNA bank, where it can be traced back to the owner with a huge fine to frighten the rest of them.

10:1938347I might try that Roger but I dont think it will do any good as Colin says it has always been a problem. There is even a Dog Poop bin at the end of the alleyway.
One nice dog owner even let their dog go right outside the school gates!

16:5038366I had a walk out to Bushy Ruff on Monday via the Mill and the bog into Kearsney Abbey. I don't recall it being as bad that in the past. I don't normally do walking that often so my ankles and knees were killing me when I got back home. Got some half-decent pictures though so it wasn't a complete disaster!

18:2638375Sheli, if that person who lets their dog drop one on the pavement, does so on a regular basis, the dog-warden will be happy to come out and will fine/prosecute them - oh and they do take photographic evidence.
They do have new posters too so if you feel there should be any posters anywhere, you can let them know.

15:2138911I visited the Baguette Ella for the first time at lunchtime today for a tea. Very nice too, I shall be back in there again soon. A nice mug of quality tea for 90p, a pack of all butter shortbread for 40p, all excellent value. The downside was, I needn`t have got the shortbread as you get a biscuit with it anyway. No, it was all great, and such cheery happy staff. Pay a visit if you haven`t done so. I couldn`t help keep looking over the road for Mr Brown to come out.

15:1939078Back into Baguettella near noon today for a tea, and I fancied a bacon roll, but the cardboard cube advertising it was removed from the counter and I was told it`s only served till 11.30. If the bacon`s microwaved, I couldn`t see how it would have been a problem seeing as only a couple of tables were occupied, and I thought shops went for all the business they could get? Anyway, I said I`d look in later, and instead, went down to the Seasports centre and had a bacon sarnie and tea in there. Most places these days do all day breakfasts, and Rooks do bacon rolls all day. Well, there were two of us, so one business gained and the other one lost. Isn`t this what Business success is all about?

15:4839080It's to my regret that I still haven't tried the breakfasts in the Sea Sports Centre yet, despite the fact that my wife works there mornings! I went to give it a go yesterday, but she was busy so rather than pay to park I took myself off to Jermain's in Beaconsfield Road for one of Eddie's wonderful fry-ups : 2 bacon, 2 sausages, 2 fried eggs, slice of fried bread plus a mug tea for £4.50. Great value; Jermain's is still my favourite greasy spoon in town, even if the quack would rather I had a lettuce leaf instead.
True friends stab you in the front.

18:3339091I didn`t see that anywhere`s Paul, as the advertisement cube disappeared too quick, but I shall return to have another try next week. Thanks mate. P.S. Congratulations on your 1000th posting, and here`s to your next lot.
