15:5566187I find Dymchurch the place for value and good rides for little kids , Mark loves taking the girls on the water splash im the wise one who stands at the sides and waves as they face the drop down

20:0866204dymchurch is heaven for kiddies melissa, everything there is geared to the old fashioned bucket and spade holiday.
i think they even still have a donkey on tghe beach with a straw hat on giving them cheap and very slow rides.

06:5366284£1.00 a ride is good value nowadays; probably make more money by reducing the cost of them.

23:4166416 A full day out, a couple of pint`s in the White Horse at teatime, a walk along the prom and Prince of Wales pier, and an evening visit to catch the colour of the fairground in Pencester. Hope you all had a perfect day.

10:4466461The lack of people in those two funfair shots should be evidence enough that the funfair would be better served by being here when the carnival and regatta are on.

11:2966473the fair was doing very good business on wednesday and thursday afternoons.
not sure of the time that colin took the photo but it was probably at a time when the kids were tucked up in bed and the teenagers would be getting ready to go out clubbing.

02:3466610Pathetic excuse Howard. Nip over to one of the other fairs and see what it should be like.

07:2166614Sid and Howard, I took those images above about 20.30, and it was almost deserted, unlike the times from year`s gone by. Maybe my 2 daughter`s could put it in a nutshell, Thorpe Park, Chessington, Disneyland Florida/Paris. Local funfair`s have no appeal to them or their freind`s after visit`s to the afore mentioned. Add to that the electronic games world, and maybe the travelling funfair is on it`s way out? Another institution to disappear forever.

11:3166643i think there will always be a place for the travelling funfairs, take a look at the top of the range cars and caravans that the operators bring with them.
not all families can afford trips to disneyland and the like.
we had to queue for one of the rides yesterday afternoon.

There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".
