    Yes Sir I WAS A CLLR and a town parish council cllr I was on five parish councils at the same time they all had a Clark to pay for all also get a preset payment, and the Town councils about £250, 000 per year or more, that is just some of the cost each one gets and some councils are so close to each other that one overall council would do.And some councils now make a payment to cllrs.
