It's not the Country he's decrying, it's the man in charge of it.

Lets be honest it was a publicity stunt and of course Roger/bARRYW will think it was great because thats there background and it was labour bashing
thats fine.
Wonder what the everyday person thinks?
or do they realy care?
thats the worry

Keith - the whole point of this is the public reception of Dan's comments.
Ignored by the mainstream media it had a massive impact on the web and is the biggest hitting political speech on YouTube.
It has had now 1,790,451 views on YouTube and is discussed in forum after forum, I look in on just three, this, ARRSE and Digtal Spy and it has been a huge discussion point, generally favourably. Dan hit a nerve in saying directly to Brown what so many people want to say.
To dismiss this as a publicity stunt as you have is to ignore the facts. It was a speech in reply to Gordon Brown's address to the European Parliament by an elected member of that Parliament.

With the greatest of respect "Debbie does Dallas" and "Deepthroat" have had more hits on websites than Dan the Euroscam man but it doesn't necessarily mean that it's content has any important message.
Dan obviously couldn't get selected or elected as a Tory MP and decided that the EP was the only easy gravy train left in which to dip his bread.

I think therefore I am (not a Tory supporter)

Marek, you clearly don't know Dan.
Once again its a matter of having a go at the messenger and ignoring the message.

that did tickle me, the internet is a toy to most, easy to make a name on.
that is so true about mep's, most of them see it as an easy unaccountable way of earning a living.
i would love to see how many letters they get from constituents seeking advice.
they do not need to hold monthly surgeries or hold face to face meet the people days like a uk mp.
