Is Brown preparing to apologise?
- 11 February 2009 12:1715182There is a rumour, source Martin Bright, that Brown has obtained a copy of a DVD of Obama making his apology so he can learn how to do it. Maybe by the time you read this he will have done it.
It wont work for Brown though, in getting him out of trouble, as he, unlike Obama, was actually in charge for the last 11/12 years and has spent the last 12 months or so denying any culpability for the economy and trying to place all the blame on bankers or the USA or anyone else he can think of. For him it just wont wash and would be a humiliation to suddenly have to backtrack and hold his hands up.

Brown has been busy for the past half hour wiping the floor with Lord Snooty at PMQs telling the HoC that if he hadnt stepped in to save the banks he would have had to apologise. It was rather funny because Snooty kept asking how to do things, Brown told him 'That's the way to do it' and knocked the pipsqueak over.

Your class war attemps are looking sadder by the day, Sid. As for your interpretation of PMQs, a bit far fetched to say the least.

Maybe he thought that today was going to be his but it wasnt to be, he looked like his nether regions had been near the bacon slicer.
I can reveal that the Tories have added the Learning and Skills Council to their hit list to be abolished if they win the next election. Maybe they eqate helping people as waste. - Brian Dixon
