There is a rumour, source Martin Bright, that Brown has obtained a copy of a DVD of Obama making his apology so he can learn how to do it. Maybe by the time you read this he will have done it.
It wont work for Brown though, in getting him out of trouble, as he, unlike Obama, was actually in charge for the last 11/12 years and has spent the last 12 months or so denying any culpability for the economy and trying to place all the blame on bankers or the USA or anyone else he can think of. For him it just wont wash and would be a humiliation to suddenly have to backtrack and hold his hands up.
