    getting back to post 45 from andy, it is not just us rocking the boat, all over western europe there is dissent.
    not just ireland and denmark as it was at one time, the lisbon treaty clearly upset all those were asked to vote on it, hence they stopped asking people.

    the new nations love it as they are gaining by it.

    the more i listen to the language that angela merkel uses, the more i think that germany will be the first to pull out.
    recent statements have referred to the future of the currency and more recently to the future of the union.

    she is responding to a massive groundswell of opinion in her country that feel germany is being used as a cashcow for other nations that cannot run their economy.
