  Barry for someone who hates sport that is a great reply, of course the success is down to our sports men and woman and they deserve all the credit they get.
  
  I love sport and have enjoyed every minute of the Olympics that I have been able to watch.
  
  The lottery money that has gone into sport has helped all sports and is a great asset, but it is no good without the dedication of all those who give their time to achieve their aims.

  i felt a lot of sympathy today for our star triple jumper.
  red hot favourite, the eyes of the world on him, and it just does not happen.
  
  another 4 years to make up for it.
  not many of us suffer like that, normally things go wrong and we can have a go at making amends fairly quickly.
