Maybe she lives there now or Deal is just trendier place for her to say she is from?
I think there are quotes of her saying how rough it was in Dover or something like that

Ha. That reminds me of people who claim to be from Whitfield but actually hail from Buckland.
Born in Buckland hospital and lived in Albert Road according to this:

Unless she has moved to Deal of course. I thought she'd moved down Somerset way.

This silly debate about where she was born or lived does it really matter especially as apparently she now lives in Devon.
Joss was brilliant on the Masked Singer as Sausage.

I will not argue but where I live it’s River. My Council tax partly goes to RPC .I donot contribute to Dover Town,.There are two signs which depict River. We have our own Parish Council.I don’t think St Radigunds does.or Buckland .They are Wards of Dover .

Sorry to repeat myself but this post has turned rather silly, I thought I would best to bring it back to being about Joss.

Indeed. But first, who or what is a 'Joss Stone' and who or what is a 'mask singer'? Floundering.
