I noted on a walk to St Margarets bay on Wednesday last, a land rover on Langdon Cliffs, and the National Trust was having lots of fence posts erected, presumably to keep the wild horses in place. Some of it was along the cliff edge. No sign of the horses incidently, though fresh dollops were about to indicate their recent presence. The fencing has spoilt the area somewhat, after all these years of wide open spaces up there.

getting too intellectual for me now sid, having met colin, he has a mischievious side.
nothing offensive though, my use of the word controversial may have been out of place.

I`m confused here, I went back up Langdon cliffs today on this glorious summer`s day, and as the fencing had all gone, it now seems that earlier this week they were actually taking it down, not erecting it. No sign of the wild horses again, or fresh dung, so have these animals been removed?

What a waste Sid, they`d probably taste better than a supermarket Sunday joint.

The nearest prison to Blackpool is Kirkham an old RAF base. The next largest dispersal prison is Preston...pretty grim.

Didn`t want to bore you with four car parks, but they were all near full this afternoon. Must be a nice little earner up there for parking fees. I do remember some years ago about the outcry of having to pay to park up there.

So profitable I hear DDC has opened a new deposit account at Lloyds. They call it the Dogger Bank Account.
