20:3940817I was in there again last Friday, and as I`ve mentioned on here before, the food and tea is A1, and Mandy who serves, is very pleasant and chatty, as is her staff. A hearty all day breakfast for £3.50, with tea. The decor has a very bright and cheerful look. Highly recommended.

15:4040885Another good english breakfast in there this morning, with a 2 cup pot of tea and all for only £3.50! Had an interesting conversation with Mandy the owner, a wonderful lady full of enthusiasm for what she`s achieved there. I`ve mentioned the forum, and Vic`s posting so she`ll be looking at it tonight. Try and pay a visit if you haven`t yet done so, and she`ll be thrilled I`m sure if you mention the forum.

16:3440893Is this towards the underpass? I am happy to try out a nice breakfast for that price, and the bonus of a sea-walk afterwards.

02:0940944Just remembered, the counter in there is an ex-Woolworths one, and if you ask Mandy about it, I`m sure she`d be delighted to tell you it`s history.

18:3541294After 5 days of hospital food, I shall be looking forward to a nice tasty breakfast tomorrow if I can. Perhaps I`ll go for her full monty. I`m glad you enjoyed your cheese scones Vic, and yes, the weather has had an effect on her business. Perhaps being near the seafront, not many people want to venture that far?

15:3341361Only managed to squeeze a bacon sarnie down today at Mandys, but it was nice to have a natter after a week`s absence. She was pleased to see Roger and Vic. I also bought a couple of Vic`s wife`s homemade cards, and very nice too. Very original as compared to the general mass produced rubbishy cards which abound these days. The wife and sister in laws like their cards Vic, so they were of real interest to them. Picture shows the two I bought.

Rounded the morning off today with a full English breakfast at Mandy`s, and I was pleased to see nearly all the table`s occupied, with no chance to have a natter. Hopefully, other trader`s in the town were getting a bit more custom with this change in the weather.

Over a breakfast in their yesterday I can tell you that Mandy is delighted that her little business is getting such good coverage on here. As always the food was excellent, the best bacon in Dover.
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong.
