Congratulations Mel and Mark and welcome to Nayun!
Well im back! feeling very sore and tired but happy to be home with our newest addition. first offf i would like to say a big thank you to my wonderful hubby for being my all during the horrid times and my gosh we went through some here i will share our story.
Monday came and went full on contractions and prostins being given to no joy so clemmy was sent home, tuesday my doctors broke my waters and here is the problem, on my last scan it was found i was carrying to much water but at the time they wernt worried about moreso worried with my liver condition i had spent nine months trying to keep my unborn baby safe by endless meds, tests, appointments bloods taken etc , so the waters got broke to flood the ward the doctors all got alarmed but then it got serious Nayuns heart rate went from 145 down to 63 then the midwife checked me to find the placenta and cord had came down befroe baby and was cutting his oxygen , the red alarms were pressed to be surrounded instantly by a huge crash team around 25 people all doing different jobs and a midwife had to hold her hands into my cervix to keep babys head up and stop the placenta coming out i was rushed away to theatre and mark was left alone,
i had all these people asking questions and taking over then i passed out to wake up after having an general ansethtic with these people trying to control my heart rate as i was bleeding to much , then i had clots removed to try and stop the bleeding , i was finally stable enough to see mark and my baby but i truly cant thank the doctor Georgio and sister midwife Rebecca for saving our lives
Thankyou all so much for the lovely wishes on here and Howard working alongside Mark to keep you all updated . xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Nice to see you Mel , you must be relieved to be home
Welcome back Mel - it is good to hear from you again. And well done mate, for all that hard work! What a lovely result, too!!

This mark thank you to Howard for keeping you all informed . Things got scary for a while , i carnt thank the doctors , midwives and other hospital staff enough , they kept me calmly informed when things were going wrong , one midwife even apollogised even tho her actions saved both there lives . I have so much respect for all the staff at the William Harvey maternity apartment . Im so proud of Mel my wonderful wife who means the world to me and Nayun is an angel even at two in the morning . Thank you for your kind messages .

Hi Mel,
Well done girl - you did well!! So glad you and little Nayun are ok now and can enjoy each other. Mark is so proud of you and loves you so much - makes me go all soppy lol. Congratulations to you all and look forward to seeing more photos of your beautiful baby xx
There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".

sounds terrifying i knew mel had a liver problem but not to that extent, the william harvey surpassed themselves by the sound of it.
time for mel to relax and unwind at home by doing the cleaning, ironing, washing up, hoovering, gardening and various jobs that mark has thoughtfully left for her.
