Came across this just one hour ago. Four fence panels alongside the path between DeBurgh Hill and Shooters Hill have been pulled down. I tried to pick them up but these are a 2 man (sorry person) lift. These are not the lightweight ones from the B&Q. The problem is, as you will see from the second picture, that there is a steep drop into the London Road gardens.
Someone must have heard this.
Was it reported when it was happening? If not, why not? If it was, did the police attend? If not why not? If they did attend, why wasn't it taped off?
I have reported this to the DDC emergency line who will "pass it on".

Gawd a right mess there Terry. The photos capture the scene very well. Yes they certainly look a bit too heavy to lift yourself but hopefully the DDC will get on the case fairly soon. I guess it was just some juveniles messing about but unfortunately very destructive messing about. Pointless too.
Why?? is there that little to do in Dover?

You could give these idiots a full complement of fun things to do, they'd only start to feel disinterested in having fun with everyone else and go back to breaking stuff. Sadly I think there's a lot of em around in dover :(

Terry I have called DDC to,this is of course the path where we did the mural,and the neighbours tell me that since it has been done the behaviour has got better,also phone the community warden

Yes Terry She was on her way down when I called her she has already been onto Highways,just wait for DDC and highways then.

It's a terrible shame when you see this mindless vandalism, unfortunately we are not the only town who have to put up with this behaviour.

Bloody crazy.
Going to bed last night and there was a hell of a racket, Two yoofs shouting and screaming, one of them got on to Panhandles motor bike and set the alarm off and not content with that he gave it a right good kicking.
Walking to work at 06-20 this morning I noticed a large number of cars with their wing mirrors kicked off and laid on the road.

At first KCC's Highways came and took the panels away (11.00). Then at about 14.00 they put these there.
I did often wonder what happened to the old fridge and settee that were at the front of the old YHA building. Now, with the panels gone I know. They are in the back garden!

Been up there Terry,I hope those barriers are only temporary as it is a big drop down,and giving access to some back gardens,I and Alison reported the litter last week again.What is even better is that it is not Alisons or my Ward,but we keep an eye on it.
