i am not clever enough to know whether there is a supreme being(s).
bern may have used the wrong word in psyche, i seem to remember barry w saying that he was a non believer but respected christianity as part of our heritage and should be respected.

07:3736345The opiate of choice for the masses these days is TV (of any size...)! You are probably right that the word "psyche" was inaccurate. Perhaps I was simply referring to a human beings need to trust or have faith in something, whether it is a deity or something else. The search for meaning in a meaningless existence is intrinsic. I think I mean that to mock or trivialise the search for truth or meaning is fundamentally offensive.
