No Brian, just regular knee-tremblers within sight of the local residents, just like before.

A couple I know live about a third of the way up in Adrian Street and they have had people copulating in their front garden as well as using it as a lavatory. I am very surprised that DDC have issued a licence to Mr Gupta without asking what he is upta.

I think the issue is consistency Reg, various breaches of licence have been reported and ignored whilst this shop got hammered for a relatively minor offence.

I totally agree Howard, there is no consistency. Fines for dropping fag butts but nothing for dumping bags of waste in the river with photographic proof, the list is long!

Opening night is tomorrow 10 pm until 4 am, normal hours are 9 pm until 3 am on Thursdays and until 3. 30 am on Fridays and Saturdays. Just glad it's nowhere near me.

Looking at the times that some members are up and about and posting on here, it could give them somewhere to go for a meetup at those hours

That's a bit silly of them Vic, how would you be able to show off your dance moves without your stick?

Reports of rowdy behaviour in Adrian Street between 2 and 3 am on the nights that the club is open, hope the licencing people are aware of this.

Met an old mate in town earlier who lives in Adrian Street and him, his wife and neighbours had a thoroughly miserable festive season because of the rowdiness of the clientele at the bottom of the road. Christmas morning action finally ended at 04. 30 hours and over the rest of the period when the club was open not much better. Upon contacting the police he was told it was a council matter and told him to ring them with any complaints. As we know the Council offices were closed until January 4th when the worst of the problem was over and the noise telephone number went unanswered all over the holiday as per usual.
On one particular night/morning police turned up to attend a massive brawl but did not get out of their cars because it was too dangerous to do so.
