  you mentioning that greek liqueuer reminded me of a bottle of wine that someone brought me back from a greek island many years ago.
  
  i was told to open it about two days before drinking!!!
  
  anyway, i opened it, the smell was like a stink bomb from schooldays, left it on the kitchen work surface for a few days, turned out to be a very nice drink.
