Old Dover Hoverport
- 26 July 2010 19:5462374I was always down the sea front in the very early 60`s viewing the cross channel ferries and walking round the dock`s. A Saturday was sometimes spent trawling the various gift shops we use to have, looking for any post-cards of ferries that I didn`t have, and I`ve still got the whole lot, so pocket money well spent. I bought the above post-card at that time, and with all the posting`s about these three mast`s, now down to two, all these post-cards I have show four. Was one previously demolished?
Tell them that I came, and no one answered. - 26 July 2010 20:4662390Actually 2 were demolished at one point and only one of the replaced. There were also the four wooden towers that were demolished too.
