13:3432470To me, executing for revenge doesn`t come into it, and we`re certainly not reducing ourselves to their level by doing so. He`s done an evil deed and has to pay the price according to the law of their land. You don`t send an armed robber to jail for revenge.

20:1932487You send him there Bern to remove him from society, and protect it. As to whether it rehabilitates them or not I`m sure will depend on the individual. I don`t know what the statistics are. Sure you`ll agree, you can`t change all of them. But for a society to survive, you need order.
